My Mishloah Manot:
I do not do anything fancy. This year, I bought special bags with a Purim theme.
Inside I put:
Tea (because tea is very important.)
Chocolate kisses of various types
Homemade Hamentashen (recipe to follow)
Assorted sugar cookies (recipes previously posted)
Raisins
Homemade Popcorn Balls (recipe to follow)
I sealed the bags with assorted ribbons.
Et voila!
Enjoy!๐
Looks beautiful ๐

I posted a lot on one day, which I usually try not to do. So, it probably got lost in the shuffle.๐

I am grateful that others are even interested in reading about it! I just thought it would be useful to understand the context of the recipes.

Thank you! Once the items are available, it’s kind of like an assembly line. I do it in stages. Wednesday night I put in the items that are non perishable. Then the next day I finish it up.

Those look lovely! We gave our first Misloach manotย since moving yesterday. Discovered a teller at our grocer was Purim observant upon checkout. Very opportune timing!

Happy Purim ๐ it’s a great opportunity to create community and friendship. Sort of a group bonding experience.

I like your basket, and it is like what we give my parents as gifts. Consumables as they have already everything else they need. I am not aware of the term Mishloah Manot. Hebrew perhaps ?

It is Hebrew. It’s literal translation is “sending of portions.” Because one gives portions of food for people to eat during the meal.

You make it sound so easy. I’m sure you placed more work into creating this than you describe. It is lovely!
